News coming out of the national art theater at Iganmu Lagos, is that the Ebele Jonathan, PDP led government has in a letter dated march 2013, given all the people using the national edifice the grace of two weeks to vacate the complex in preparation for the place and the adjoining land to be rebuilt into a gigantic hotel and a multi-layer car pack.
The question on every one lips now is, is GEJ jinxed on maters pertaining to the south west? Remember University of Lagos? it is now becoming a taboo for the President to say he wants to do any meaningful project in the south west because the few he has tried embarking on is like shooting himself on the foot. it has always becoming a bad PR for him and the PDP.
PDP as a party is trying all their best to win back the heart of the people of this side of Nigeria, but as hard as they push they always move with the bad foot or is it at a wrong moment, imagine turning the only place know for art and culture into an hotel.
The brand know as the national art theater as already become known with Nigeria and especially the city of Lagos.
Although the edifice is pictured when looked from afar like the cap of a military officer, even if the politician are trying to erase the thought of the coming back of the military from our mind, they should at least put food on the table of average Nigerians.
